I was informed by a relative that my family is going through this hard, arduous, hellish times because her family- composed of very strong witches/wizards- is responsible for this situation. This has been going on for years now; this is typical lifestyle around here. We have job plans alright but we seem to be losing everything – marriages, jobs, money, homes/houses and all. My wife and I are born again Christians but now we seem to be within an enclosure of hell. We want to break out of this for we know through Christ we can.
We want to start a sort of a ministry within our church to help people who are in this situation, and there are quite many. Please help with prayers.
Please pray for my precious dog that’s ran away and finding no trace of her,we’ve done everything we can to find her but prayer is our last resort.I pray shes not suffering at this very moment and she finds her way back home alive.This dog means the world to me,I bottle fed her from when she was a pup because the mom wasn’t producing milk so I nursed all of her puppies and they all became so special to me,but one by one,they’re all getting ran over or running away and probably getting killed.And I know that everytime her brothers and sisters howl at night,it’s because they’re crying in honor for her. She is the sweetest thing,she would always come up and sit beside me and stare and keep on even if i didnt touch or stare at her,she loved me.She would look at me with those deep brown eyes of hers and her long yellow eyelashes would just wink at me sometimes.She always looked like she was smiling,because the corners of her mouth had dimples.I cried an insane amount of tears writing this.Please,pray for her and all the other little animals suffering. Thank you so much for praying for her.
Please Lord, hear our prayers. My friend and I are going going through a difficult time with our house which has been foreclosed on, and though we are continuing the battle to retain our house, there have been many obstacles that sometime try our faith and bring our morale down. We believe in your word and have faith in you that all would be good, and our will is to stay in the house so hear our prayer, and give us the strength and confidence to believe in ourselves that we chose to do the right thing. Financial this has taken much of us, but emotionally it has brought us closer, more so than any friend would have imagined. For those that think that friendship are easily dissolved over financial strain or home ownership, they have to learn how to be true friends, and go beyond the word of friend, and onto brother/sisterhood.

Carol is a mother with 2 daughters & a husband, she had breast cancer 3 years ago. She just found out that her cancer has come back as a aggressive form of bone cancer. Two weeks ago she was admitted to emergency in extreme pain & was sceduled for surgery for colapsed vertibre in her neck, the night before she went in her oldest daughter gave birth to her first grand babies, twins. They put 2 plates in her neck, then 10 days later she walked her youngest down the isle in her wedding. She has so much to live for & is facing the fight for her life. Please pray for her & her family for continued strength.

The HR personnel said that I was qualified for the job and that he would even put on the list of those who are qualified for the team leader or supervisor position. However, nothing is sure yet. I will have to wait for their call, which will take weeks according to the HR personnel. I pray that you keep me patient and faithful to you as I go through the challenges I am facing today. Please give me the supervisor position because I really want it and only you know what can happen.

My father is 55 and has had 4 heart attacks and a stoke. He survived it all and is still going strong. But last year he lost his job and we are in the mist of foreclosure. I am 19 and live at my home with my parents. My mother has breast cancer and lung problems, and has had a hip replacement but waitresses to try and bring home some money. We are in desperate need of a miracle. I am trying to help my family, but I am in school full time and work full time. We have always believed that the lord does what is best for us. But this will be the second home that we lose. I am scared. Jesus is my savior and I have faith in him. But right now I need prayer. Please, if anyone reads this, pray for my family. Because in this dark hour, our extended family has turned away from us. We stick together and hope that God will do what is best for us. We just need a miracle…

I recently lost my job and a few weeks afterwards my boyfriend broke up with me … both extremely unexpectedly. I’m so confused and so hurt. I am crying every day. I’m 34 years old and have a strong desire for a family. I’ve been successful in my career up to this point and have been presented with a wonderful career opportunity that will take me overseas, but find it impossible to think straight. I have very serious disappointment about the fact that I have not found someone to share my life with and have no children. I never really wanted to be this “career woman”. Dear God,
I really want to be able to forgive my family for the way they told me I was adopted. I know that my mom feels really bad about it. But, for some reason, it’s so hard for me to forgive. Ever since they told me, nothing has come to me but problems. I didn’t do as great as I wanted to my first semester in the university, I became extremely introverted and made no friends, and I didn’t join any of the clubs I wanted to. For a while, I returned to my eating disorder which I had just recovered from about 6 or 7 weeks before. I’m glad I’m not in that dark, scary place anymore. But, I can’t forgive her completely. I want to but I feel like I’m noticing every day more how much harm it did me to be told that way. Of course, I’m grateful that I wasn’t aborted. But, it’s not about that. It’s about where I’m at now.
The only thing I can hope now is that I can do well in school, that I can find a descent job, that I can make friends, and find someone who cares about me. I just pray that I can forgive her also.
Jesus i just pray right now that you bring great comfort and peace. That confidence just come freely. Jesus just let your holy spirit blow through like a mighty rushing wind and bring complete peace. Its funny i was about to start writing and i look to the side of the screen and read “God is real and He is forever apart of us, no matter how far away from Him we fall.” i feel like slowly through time i have deviated myself from him. i don’t even remember my last prayer. I always chose my path with his guidance but now i am lost and scared to ask for help. because i thought i wasn’t dependent from him anymore now i find myself lost confused and scared of what has to become of me. i’ve fallen far from god all i really pray for is help maybe some guidance. i was wrong i chose the wrong path because i was without him. i have not sinned nor have i done harm towards anyone and no one has been affected in my choices. i just need cant see the light anymore. and i also pray that even though me and my father dont see eye to eye… that he knows i never gave up on being his son… i just wish that he never gives up on being my father. and that im sorry i never made him proud…..

So I have really frizzy hair & tonight one piece of my hair was horrible, so I wet it so I could put some cream on it. Well my mom saw me, and got super mad, cause it’s late, and now she’s reallyreally angry at me. I didn’t mean to upset her, but now she’s threatening to chop off pretty much all my hair so it’s “short & ugly”. I don’t think she’s kidding either. Please pray that she realizes I just made a stupid mistake & want her to be happy.
I’d like to pray for my parents who are going through the most challenging phase of their lives. The hospital they built in state of Kerala(India) in 2000 with their hard-earned savings is not profitable and they’ve been struggling to manage it for the last 10 years. It’s riddled in debt amounting to millions and my parents find it difficult to keep the hospital functioning, pay the salaries of staff and also manage their own household expenses.
All my parents did was open a hospital for the benefit of the community but due to mounting debts, I’ve witnessed my parents go through abusive calls from loan sharks, labor strikes of the hospital staff, alienation from relatives etc. It’s a miracle & God’s blessing that they have found the strength to survive such hard moments.
When can we see the light at the end of the tunnel? All these years, my dad has been searching for a suitable investor or buyer. And he’s still searching.
All I ask from God is peace of mind for my parents. Please.

My dad was diagnosed with lung cancer on June 6th. There are three cancerous spots in the right lung and lymph nodes and there is a suspicious spot on the left lung that could either be an infection or cancer. If it is cancer, than the most the doctor’s can do is to try and keep it at bay. If it is not cancer but an infection, than it quite likely he will be cured. In addition to this new news of cancer, the bank gave notice this week to my parents that they must be out of their home by August 31st. Please pray that this second bronchoscopy that my dad will undergo next week will show that the left lung is not cancer and that my parents find a new home quickly. I believe in the power of prayer and know that God is in the middle of all of this despite appearances from the outside. Thank you so much.

Hi there Campbell. when reading your post i just felt i had to reply… if i can just share my story with you! Please hear my heart i understand posting this could not have bin easy and i take that you are really struggling with this. I’m 21 years old and is currently a student in Stellenbosch University (SA) . A few years ago when i was still in the house with parents who loved me, i really treated them poorly, never listening to them, sneaking out, it was insane! i had no respect for them, i never listened to their advice. I only listened to what my own head was telling me!!
i came to UN, with that same stubborn attitude, and then God got hold of me!! And i now know why i was like that. God made me who i am. And he took me through that phase of my life, because he knew what a strong leader i am!! God needs people who can stand up for him, people who respect his name! PLEASE HEAR MY HEART. I’m not going around looking for a fight! But as a young man, n believe that in this world need MEN and WOMEN who still stands up for what is right!!

I have a lot on my mind tonight. My boyfriend, of 4 years, and I spent a lot of time reading a few chapter here and there of encouraging words. Both of us have been suffering greatly. I feel hopeless. I pray constantly to God and I know he can here me. I dont know why he is punishing me in these ways. First off I’ll let you know a little about me, I am 19 years old with a 23 yr old brother he is moved out and a half-sister that is 26 that lives 4 hours away from our family. She is keeping my 2 little nephews from my parents, she has little contact with us. We have all grown up in a christian home and mostly have the same views. Every sunday morning mom got me and my brother ready for church with my dad. my sister moved to her dads away from my mom. My mom and dad have been together for 24 years now. They are very happy and raised me and my brother well! Ill start with my mom. She is 46 years old and she was diagnosed with M.S. in 1991 when i was born. It caused her to constantly walk with a cane. Well in 2003 she had to have back surgery, the surgery went bad and they had infected her back so she is currently bed fast since 03. In 2008 she had 2 blown discs in her neck. They immediatley did surgery to try to relieve the pain. That went well for awhile. Around the same time they had found cancer in her stomach. They did surgery through her stomach and had popped a blood vessel bearly missing the artery, which could have killed her. Her stomach was black and blue for several weeks she was in a lot of pain. Around 2006 our family stopped going to church because of my parents health issues. But they still have God in their daily lives. In 2009 They found a tumor in my moms brain, the frontal lobe, which deals with memory, speech, motor skills etc. she has been hospitalized several times due to that. They can not see if it is cancerous b/c it would be a life/death surgery. Just last month april 2011 she had skin cancer on her cheek. They did surgery all the way to her cheek bone to get the cancer cells out. Thank goodness they caught that in time. Currently she is on 15 & 30 mg of morphine daily, also somas, muscle relaxed for her back, and a phentenal pain patch on her arm. Today she just had 2 infected teeth pulled and has been asleep and in pain all day. My mom is the sweetest most caring, understanding woman alive. I dont see why she is going through these struggles. Well heres for my dad.. My dad is 53 yrs old. He worked as a diesel mechanic for 20 years a lot of hard work! around 1996 my dad had fallen off a 30 foot ladder and ruined his back at work. To this day he still has back pain a long with my mom. My grandpa was a Medical Doc and could prescibe my parents about anything. My dad was taking 20-50 hydrocodone a day! He was a very godly man, but didnt realize he was living his life. Finally after a few years my dad stopped the pills cold turkey. It was Gods power helping him through it. In 2006 he was diagnosed with shy drager syndrome/Multiple system atrophy (google it very insane) The US population for this disease is about 100,000. There are only few places that know about this disease. MSA damages the nervous system and is a progressive terminal disease. I was a daddys girl from the second he held me in his arms. He is so calm and laid back and loving. Since he has been diagnosed with this horrible disease it has changed my dad forever. He is no longer the daddy I could run and cry to. He is still loving, but when you know someone so good like the back of your hand for 16 years and just one day changes like that. It is really hard to accept. I will tell you a little about the disease. The past years my mom and I havw been around him daily so we can catch signs and what causes him to go into mini comas and what helps etc. When my dad stresses out about something so little, like me he was worried about me passing my test in college today. So little thing to worry about I have straight A’s. His bottom lip becoms white, face looses his color. His left eye will droop but his right eye will be open. He will sit in his chair and pass out into a mini coma, bearly breathing. We have to put a C-pap machine on him for him to actually breathe. and this is what they usually die from, slowly breathing and then they quit breathing all together bc their nervous syster shuts down. He has been to the Mayo Clinic. They did nothing for him there. Made him wait 5 hours in a waiting room before seeing him. After that we had took a trip to Tennessee to Vanderbilt College/Hospital where he met his doctor to this day. My parents are both disabled and bearly make enough for the house payment. I work 25 hours a week and go to college over full time. I buy them groceries and things they need like personal items. Take them to doctor appointments, cook and clean. We have a home health care service come in to help them while i am not at home. My life is a mess and I pray and read all the time to try to get wisdom.My boyfriend and I have been at the same church for 3 years, but I do not want to be a burden on the church and tell them about my sick parents and boyfriend. I know thats what they are there for but I feel other people need prayers also. Our pastor and his wife knows about my parents and ask about them often, but i try not to bring it up to anyone. The past 5 years my love of my life has been suffering with Colitis, swelling (inflammation) of the large intestine (colon). He has tried every kind of medication and none of it works for him. his colon is severly inflammed and they dont know what to do with him. he is about 5’4 and 98 lbs. He goes to the restrrom about 20-40 times a day. He can not keep anything in his system. Currently he is doing a monthly injection kind of like kemo for cancer but it is called remicade. it is a 5 hr injection and cost $6,000 per injection. He is 20 years old and his mom is a single parent trying to make it by on less than $30,000 a year. Just last week his doctor had told him im sorry but we dont know what to do anymore so they are going to send him a couple hours away to another specialists. Everyday is getting harder and harder for my family. I try to get wisdom and rest from the lord, but im just still struggling. Please my family needs a lot of prayers and if you need me to pray for you just let me know and I would be happy to help. I cry several times a day bc my loved ones around me are fading I know i should give it all to God. Thank you so much for your support!
Continue to trust in the Lord with all of your heart. Do not be discouraged. He is not punishing you, he is molding you and your family. God tells us to not be unequally yoked. I want to obey God and do as He says, because I know He wants what’s best for me. But I also love this non-believing man He has put into my life. This young man God gave to me tried to become a Christian so he could be with me, but wrestled in his heart with the things of God he could not understand. He says now he does not believe in the God I love, while a part of him still wants my God to be there, listening to him. His heart is sweet, humble, and full of questions that I cannot alone answer. God must perform that redemptive work in his heart and give him the answers his heart is searching for. Just pray that God enters his heart and renews it for Him. Thank you.

I am not finding fulfillment in the Lord recently. I cry every day and I know this is Him wanting a stronger relationship with me but I can’t seem to get there.
This seems insignificant, but all of my friends are in my Bible Study and they are very immature, very selfish and I feel like I am so lonely and so isolated from them.
I know I need to learn mercy and patience for these women but I can’t get out of the mindset that I am “better than them” and that’s not fair to them and it’s not the right thing to do.
Please pray that
1) I will learn that God is the only thing I need. I need His fulfillment and his love more
2) God will show me how to love these women and provide strong bonds on my college campus so that I lose a feeing of loneliness.
Lord, please bless those who have posted on this sight and may they see you in their situations.

Please pray for all the people who are in south IL and Northern wisconsin with their jobs! Please pray that god protects their jobs and keeps these people working for their needs and their families! I’ve seen that they are laying off 1900 people from abbott labrotories, which effects every company around them. I work in a Printing company and we laid about 5 workers off on the 25th of this month…it was a gloomy day becuase we are like a family. I do have one more, my sister is going through Thyroid cancer right now, she just found out on Christmas that she is pregnant and just went through radiation a month prior! And they think that the cancer is spread and dont know where. Shes due to go through kemo shortly after delivering her baby around august or sept…Keep her in your prayers too please!

Read my previous post and am realizing I’m praying again for the same thing. I’m stuck in a corporate situation of Manager-level + gets 2-3 promotions a year whereas “worker bees” are stuck in a never-ending cycle, and get paid 1/2 of what they’re worth. I know the company can afford to pay me more than what I am stuck paycheck-paycheck feeding my family with because they pay the design agency millions of dollars a month whereas I get my measly salary of a ditch-digger.
I’m praying now because my eval is coming up on Monday and I don’t want to get shafted again like I did last year by the department head who was leaving the company at the end of the month and didnt care. My last eval was done by that person as well as the person replacing them who barely knew me. For the sake of pride I would like to get better than “average” since I’m told almost every other day that “theres no designer out there like me” and “i dont know what wed do without you.” But for the sake of being able to afford to eat I would appreciate a decent salary. And I’m not being greedy and saying oh oh they should pay me more. I’m going by what I’m paid in comparison to the national salary reporting websites (in which I’m always the “crappy employee” as far as how I’m paid).
I love my job and I enjoy my work, but I would appreciate more respect.

First off I realized that I can’t sing. I know it sounds dumb but I really thought I could sing. I recorded myself one day and I sound terrible. I am in two choirs but I can’t sing. Secondly, Their is this girl Carly I am not sure if she is a straight up Christian if you know what I mean. I call her ever now and then but see picks up finds out it is me and hangs up. We are not dating or anything but that hurts. In fact I don’t know one person in my school that is willing to go all the way for Christ. I just pray that I can find that christian someone and make some other Christians as I go on with my life.

My mom is mad right now, and when she’s mad, everyone else feels it. She makes my dad and I miserable when she does this. She already wants to cut off all my hair! I still love her, of course, no matter what. But why do we need to suffer because she’s unhappy? Trust me, I want her to be happy with all my heart! And she keeps yelling at us and complaining. Please pray.
Okay first off it is good to struggle with life. If you get through this you will just become a better Christian. Sometimes you can’t fix people trust me I tried, but what you can do is fix how you see that person and how you see life. I am not saying give up on making christians but some times you better just let them see how you act and be innocent in all your ways. Showing them that it is possible not to be mad. Let her know that you are praying for her and help her with chores.

I come here today to ask for your prayer. I am Richard a college student who is down and out. I was attending school but I dont receive finaid because of my families high EFC number however it doesn’t reflect money in the bank. Long story short we have to pay out of pocket and my ma lost one of her jobs so we are really hurting. She started a business but it will be a while before the state can process all the paperwork and we can hopefully get back on our feet and she can help me with school.Im looking for a job but its really hard I live in one of the big recession states with a high unemployment rate. So right now I just sit at home waiting on something to happen a job lead the state finishing paperwork for her business etc. Its hard I see all my friends and peers going on to college and knocking out the classes and I just watch them I hate to compare but im just sitting here all day and there seems to be no easy way out. The longer I wait the more distracted I get with looking into things I dont need to buy and having bills come to the house from the univeristy I have yet to pay off. I pray everyday knowing something is gonna come through but I ask for more prayer for help maybe God will come through sooner so please pray for me and I will pray for you as well.

I’m 29 years old (Protestant Christian) currently in a Relationship with a Girl who’s 8 yrs my senior, (from a different Christian background), who I want to marry and settle down with by GOD’s Grace.
But Parents on both sides (my Dad & Mom and her Dad) & Relatives do not agree, (due to the age & background) and don’t want us to marry.
We would like to marry & settle down with GOD’s Grace & Blessings and Approval of both our Parents, on both sides.
Please pray for us to get married & settled down without any obstruction and for GOD to guide us both through our remaining lives, to treat each other with care, honesty, love, trust & understanding and also for us to remain steadfast in our faith.
Please pray for us, to be Blessed by Our Father’s Grace and for his timely intervention, so that we would not have to split up or hurt the Parents on both sides.
Now we have started having problems, she does not see a future for us together & wants to be just Friends (after more than 1 year); as she feels she’s hurting me !!!
