You may be wondering how this all works, so here is the run down.

Posting your prayer or prayer request:

If you would like to post a prayer or prayer request the following steps explain how to do so and what happens as a result.

  1. Post your prayer, prayer request or prayer need to the blog by filling out the form on the home page (the email is super important for notification purposes).
  2. Upon approval (we check to make sure nothing inappropriate is being posted) by a moderator, your post will appear with the other posts on the homepage.
  3. Visitors will be able to respond to your prayer post with a prayer for you, words of encouragement, etc. and thus the community part of all this occurs.
  4. If someone posts a reply to your prayer/prayer request and it is approved (once again we check that nothing inappropriate is posted) than you will receive an email telling you about the reply.

Posting a reply to someone else’s prayer / prayer request:

If you would like to reply to someone else’s prayer or prayer request please follow the steps below.

  1. Click the reply button beneath the post you would like to reply to.
  2. Fill out the form to submit your reply to their post and click submit.
  3. Upon your reply’s approval (we check to make sure nothing malicious is submitted) the author of the original post will receive an email notification of your reply.

Frequently asked questions:

Is my info sold to third parties?

No.  Absolutely not.  Your info is used for notification purposes only.

Do I need to register an account with YourPrayerBlog.com in order to participate?

No.  Although it is encouraged, you may post your prayers and prayer requests without an account.
