The Armor of God

“Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.  Put on the full power of God so that you can take your stand against the Devil’s schemes.  For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.  Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.“

Ephesians 6:10-13

This passage (there is actually more if you keep reading in the bible) is incredible and it reminds me every day that we have God’s protection, we just have to acknowledge it in our hearts.  This Word encourages me to no end and it lifts my spirits in those times when I don’t know what’s going on and everything seems to be falling apart.  Don the armor of the Lord and stand!

I just wanted to remind everyone that the power of prayer is immense and fantastic.  God is real and is listening intently for our prayers and worship and will do great things in your life if you just ask.  Let’s ask him to heal our wounds, heal our marriages, protect our children, and so much more.

When in doubt, pray.  I hear countless stories of the results of prayer and all of them are wonderful and they all started with the same thing, prayer.

Start collecting your own stories of how the Lord has been a wonder in your life and share them with others.  Pray about it and open up the doors of communication with Heaven.  Pray and believe in the Lord and God will do wonders in your life.

God has done wonders in my life and I testify to the power of prayer.  I encourage you to pray often and keep that line of communication with Heaven open.

A prayer for protection:

“Dear Lord,

I pray that you will lay your hands on us and protect us from injury, the devil and anything else that might come to harm us.  I know the devil is constantly trying to get into our hearts to create worry, doubt and confusion but with your divine intervention, we know that evil will have to find another place to rest.

Thank you Lord for all of your blessings, both the one’s we can account for and the one’s that we don’t know about.  I pray to lay everything at your feet and let your spirit lift me up.  You are the God of Peace and I ask that you continue to provide for us in the areas we need provision.  I also pray for supernatural healing for those who are need of healing.  I also pray for salvation and encouragement to those who haven’t found you yet.

Thank you Lord for your abundance and love. It’s in your name we pray, amen.”

This prayer is for all of us and I hope that in reading it you are reassurred that God is living in your hearts and He is faithful to His promises.
